Group Co-ordinator Central Fife

 

We are looking to recruit a Group Co-ordinator for Central Fife to cover groups in Lochgelly, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy.
The hours are 20 per week on Monday - Friday 9:15 am - 1:15 pm.
 

The closing date for applications is Friday 26th August 2022 12:00 noon.
 

There are 4 elements to the Service:

• Working with groups of people around a shared activity
• Open access drop-ins
• Supporting service users in the development of individual support/recovery plans
• Mental health promotion and community development work
   

Job Purpose:

1. To support the team in working effectively with individuals by supporting service users in a group setting and assisting in the management of individuals in achieving the goals set out in their IROC.
2. To co-ordinate and manage day support groups. In consultation with the Manager and caseworker, be responsible for the management of groups.
3. To co-ordinate, manage, monitor and review the development of the groups in order to make them interesting and relevant to the people who attend.
4. Provide emotional and practical support to service users with high support needs.
5. Where necessary provide a simple lunch for service users.
